As part of a multimodal strategy, established for the Urban Transport Master Plan of the city of Agadir, the 1st line of High-Level Bus Services is being developed over 15 km through the city centre, from the fishing port to Tikiouine.

The BRT line, divided into several sectors, urban and peri-urban, is a bus/tram solution, with a dedicated route and stations distributed every 400 m. This equipment has an impact on the comfort of users, reducing the waiting time for the BRT to 5 minutes at each station.

This BRT project has been studied for the development of the surroundings and the design of bus stations to integrate them harmoniously into the urban environment. Bus stations are accessible to all, including people with reduced mobility, through ramps, lifts and sidewalks wide enough to facilitate access.

Landscaping around the bus stations has been carefully treated to provide shade and freshness to the urban environment and improve the aesthetics of the edges of the tracks.

Bus stations are well lit for passenger safety, using energy efficient lighting.

All urban amenities have been selected in accordance with the standards of a sustainable city, using sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
