The competition consists of building a 5-star hotel with 250 rooms overlooking the sea and mountains. It also includes the realization of 100 villas of high standing.
The property will focus on wellness, with a huge spa, private beach and ocean-facing pool, in addition to a golf course.
Given such an exceptional site, we wanted to integrate this project into its natural environment by choosing a star concept for the mass plan. A soft form, laid on the ground, and surrounded by a green setting, which will generate several different points of view.
This plan, like a starfish on the ground, is conceived from the relationship between interior and exterior, based on the concept of the «garden in a garden». This star is articulated around a centrality thought as a central patio, taking up the vocabulary of Moroccan architecture.
This articulation will allow, from a functional point of view, to consolidate all public programs and commercial activities on the ground floor of the hotel.
One of the priorities of this project is that all rooms will have an unobstructed view of the sea, golf and mountain.
The villas, each will have a floor with living space, protected terraces and private pool, as well as fireplaces and hammocks. The intervention is linear, adapting to the existing topography to create views of the coastline, playing on the height of the typologies. The buildings, villas and buildings, are then arranged in a staggered arrangement.
Pedestrian walkways crisscross the plot through faults created in the existing topography, organizing themselves around thematic green spaces such as the gardens of Babylon. These circulations allow to prioritize the complex while giving it a landscape quality, highlighting the diversity of Mediterranean flora.
An integrated qualitative approach for the creation of a resort and RIPT exceptional, (conferences, SPA, reception, restaurants) for better management of traffic flows and logistics, as well as easy deambulation for the public. Rooms are on the floors to optimize access security and enjoy spectacular views of the golf course and coastline. For the RIPT, 20 contemporary private pavilions perched on stilts in a tropical mangrove by the sea.
